Everyone is always asking - how can I find a rep. My advice is always to focus on your brand first and then market to reps as if they are a potential clients. If you really spark the interest of a rep - they will contact you.
Nick Onken recently wrote about his rep experience - and it has received a lot of hits - so if you haven't already read it - I highly recommend doing so. NICK ONKEN SHOPTALK
A good rep will know a good thing when they see it.
HAPPY REP SHOPPING OR HUNTING. It's not an easy task.
It IS a lot of work. For me doing the research has taken up most of my time. I was amazed at how awful the websites of many reps are. Some take forever to load, some don't even load.
I narrowed it down to 10 reps I'd like to work with and another 5 that could also be a good fit.
Now its just keeping in contact with them, making appointments to meet for interviews and patience.
