-WEBSITE - is it up and running and looks CURRENT and show the work you want to get hired to shoot?
-PORTFOLIO - A printed portfolio sitting on the shelf ready to go
-MARKETING PLAN for 2009 - Do you know what you want to do?
-MAILING LIST - Have you signed up with Agency Access? http://agencyaccess.com/
-ESTIMATE and INVOICE SOFTWARE - Have you purchased and played with BlinkBid? http://blinkbid.com/
WHY...
-website - will allow people to see your work and make a GOOD first impression
-portfolio - you can send it for a book request - but better yet - you can use it to meet with people
-marketing plan - this will help you see what your plans are and get focused
-mailing list - it's an affordable way to get MANY names quickly and effectively
-estimate and invoice software - the way you estimate and how your estimate looks can be the deciding factor if you get that job or not - make a GOOD second impression
REMEMBER: Marketing is key to your success (especially at this moment in our history).
