So I received tons of images from my readers and WOW - thank you for inspiring me and getting out there to shoot. I received everything under the sun from scuba divers, a first band shoot ever, cars, children, acupuncture to a DEAD FISH - aka "AL's final portrait" (the plecostomus) before he was buried. I did hear that AL's sister GG is doing well and together AL & GG (algae eaters) made up the cleaning crew in their pond. Thanks for the laugh Alex!
I have to say - all the work I received was outstanding. GREAT JOB TO EVERYONE...and for those of you who said you were sending it in - please still send it to me - I will be HAPPY to comment back. amanda@sosastone.com
It's amazing what a little kick in the tush can do. KEEP SHOOTING and THANK YOU to everyone who submitted their work. I was like a kid in a candy store. THANK YOU FOR FEEDING MY SOUL! Now go and continue feeding yours.
The image I selected was created by Ezra Ayala of a Jarana Jarocha band "Tarima Son".
In loving memory of AL the Plecostomus...
R.I.P.
A little "Kick in the Tush" from you also makes for more thinking "She has seen so much - what could WOW her?" Had to test the waters on this one. Thanks Amanda!
