Did you know by using a mailing house to send your direct mail promotions out you can save money?
Mailing houses can send your promos at a discounted postage rates making your marketing efforts more efficient. Mailing houses have software that presorts your lists in the best order for the Post Office, giving you the cheapest rates available. If you are sending out the standard oversize 6 x 9 postcard your per piece costs should cost less then the standard $0.39 stamp. By using a mailing house they will save you time and most importantly money.
If you do not want to use a mailing house, you can go down to you local Post Office and have them issue you a permit number. Having a permit number allows you to prepare your mailings at presort standard rates putting the savings back into your pocket. Even though the mailing houses have the software to give you the bigger discounts, you too are entitled to the most discount if you have an issued permit number to use.
